Recording Engineer

The recording engineer is responsible to the artist and the producer for the mix and overall sound of the album. This involves preparing the studio for a recording session, operating the mixing console, and maintaining all additional electronic studio equipment and instruments with the help of the recording assistant.

Game Audio Engineer

The audio engineer is responsible for adding realism to the in-game world with sounds. Every game has its own reality and identity, and the audio engineer needs to be able to understand and encapsulate the game’s essence in the audio they produce.

Audio Visual Technician

Set up and install equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards for events and functions such as concerts, sports events, meetings and conventions, presentations, and news conferences.

Corporate Media Tech

Media technicians operate, maintain, produce, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment and materials. Working in academic or business settings, media technicians schedule and assist with the usage of equipment to enhance meetings, lectures, and seminars.

TV/Video Scoring Engineer

An audio engineering position that bridges the technological gap between the intent of the composer’s score, and the distribution of the score.

Broadcast Engineer

Broadcast and sound engineering technicians set up, operate, and maintain the electrical equipment for radio programs, television broadcasts, concerts, sound recordings, and movies.

Foley Engineer

The Foley Engineer works in the sound department, setting up microphones and recording the Foley Artists. They provide a pre-mix for the Re-recording Mixer and create the deliverables for an M+E track.

Board Operator

As the radio board operator in the radio industry, your duties and responsibilities are to control the sound mixing board to ensure that the broadcast has the proper levels, catches the right sound, and provides high-quality audio for the broadcast. Board operators typically work at larger radio stations.

Sound Effects Engineer

Sound Engineers are responsibility for assembling, operating and maintaining the technical equipment used to record, amplify, enhance, mix or reproduce sound. Manufacturer’s Specialist

Manufacturer’s Specialist: This role is central in the research and development of any device/product that makes “sound,” from audio gear to consumer electronics.

Environmental Sound Design

They oversee the audio dynamics of the performance space, microphone and speaker placement, balancing levels of all sound sources for all areas of the audience, cabling, and pulling/creating environmental sound effects. They run the soundboard during sound checks and performances.

A&R Operations Coordinator

Operations, the A&R Operations Coordinator will support the SVP with day-to-day operations and the dissemination of assets to various department within the company. This role will also assist with special projects as needed.

ProTools Engineer

This engineer has the ability to route/capture/edit/alter/mix/redistribute the audio in any kind of setting that requires the recording and playback of audio. This role is found in every disciple of Professional Audio.
